Network Connectivity

3G

3G, short for 3rd Generation, is a term used to represent the 3rd generation of mobile telecommunications technology.
People can use a 3G network on their mobile phone if it comes with 3G and can use it a connect to the internet anywhere they go and is one of the best wireless network.
You can do other useful things to communicate with people such as voice calls and video calls and can be used for data.

4G

4G, short for 4th Generation, is a term used to represent the 4th generation of mobile telecommunications technology.
People can use a 4G network just like a 3G network on their mobile phone if it comes with 4G and can use it to connect to the internet anywhere they go and is better than 3G as it is faster and has better quality, again it can be used to store data and can make and receive voice calls and video calls.

Wireless Network

Wireless network refers to any type of computer network that is not connected by cables of any kind.
You can use a wireless network anywhere you go if it has connection, otherwise known as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
There are different types of wireless networks, here are a few examples:
Wireless PAN
Wireless personal area networks (WPANs) interconnect devices within a relatively small area, that is generally within a person's reach. For example, both Bluetooth radio and invisible infrared light provides a WPAN for interconnecting a headset to a laptop.
Wireless LAN
A wireless local area network (WLAN) links two or more devices over a short distance using a wireless distribution method, usually providing a connection through an access point for Internet access. The use of spread-spectrum or OFDM technologies may allow users to move around within a local coverage area, and still remain connected to the network.
Wireless MAN
Wireless metropolitan area networks are a type of wireless network that connects several wireless LANs.
Wireless WAN
Wireless wide area networks are wireless networks that typically cover large areas, such as between neighboring towns and cities, or city and suburb. These networks can be used to connect branch offices of business or as a public internet access system.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is a popular technology that allows an electronic device to exchange data wirelessly over a computer network, including high-speed Internet connections.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a proprietary open wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances. A lot of people use blutooth on their mobile phones to transfer files such as music, video and images over to eachothers phones. Bluetooth is very useful and easy to use as it is wireless.

NIC

A network interface controller  is a computer hardware component that connects a computer to a computer network.
