Disk Drive
A disk drive is a device for storing and retrieving digital information, primarily computer data. A disk drive is used for secondary storage.
USB (universal serial bus)
USB memory pens are far smaller than a basic disk drive or a floppy disk, you can carry them in your pocket and they weigh up to 30g (grams) only.
They come in many different storage capacitys from 2gb right up to 256gb (gigabytes).
Memory Card
A memory card is a very small flash memory data storage device that are used more for mobile phones and cameras and other mp3 players. Memory cards can also be used for laptops and game consoles.
A memory card also comes with a different variety of storage capacitys.
They come in two forms, SD and Micro SD.
Floppy Disk
Floppy disks come in different sizes, when they were first made they came in a large size of 8'' (8 inches) which is 200mm (milimetres) and as the years came by they gradually made their way to 5.25'' (133mm) and now in present day they are 3.5'' (89mm). You can still get them in all these sizes but floppy disks are not used much now as USBs, Memory cards and other flash drives have been invented.
CD/DVD
A DVD is an optical disk storage device that was invented to store video (visual) on, they are used for different types of video such as a film (movie), wedding videos and other visual uses.
Cloud Computing
Cloud computing is hardware and software computer resources that are delivered as a service over a network. It is a storage device that is a backup file (your plan b) that is stored safely online.
